You know within five minutes when a wedding is going to be something real.
Just north of Santa Barbara, tucked into the rolling hills of Santa Ynez, there's a ranch that feels like it was built for exactly this kind of day. Private, warm, alive with golden light. Josh and Christine found it and knew.
They gathered just over 100 of their closest people and kept it exactly that: close. No excess, no noise. Just the people who actually matter, the land doing what it does at that hour, and two people completely present in the moment they had spent their whole lives moving toward.
Christine stepped out and the whole day shifted. Her gown was something else, hand embroidered, every detail intentional, and she wore it like it was made for her because it was. Josh in his classic black tuxedo, the vineyard glowing behind them, the late afternoon sun doing absolutely everything it was supposed to do.
The ceremony was the kind that stays with you. Not because of how it looked, but because of how it felt. Everyone in that crowd knew and loved these two people and it showed. You could feel it.
And then the night opened up. Jackets came off, shoes came off, and nobody was checking the time anymore.
The photos from this one ended up in PEOPLE Magazine, shot by the talented Marlies Hartmann. We had the honor of being there for the film.
Josh and Christine, thank you!
