They started on opposite sides. Cole on the football field, Juliet on the sidelines cheering for the other team. Love has a sense of humor like that.
Fast forward to a mountaintop in Telluride, Colorado, over 10,500 feet up, and those two were finally on the same side for good.
Telluride doesn't do subtle and neither did this wedding. The morning started with a light dusting of snow during setup, then rain, the kind that makes you hold your breath and just hope. And then, almost like it was written that way, minutes before Juliet walked down the aisle the clouds broke and the sun came out over the mountains with everything it had. The mountains gave their blessing in the only language they know.
The ceremony matched the setting. Nothing cookie cutter, nothing by the book. Just two people who found each other in the most unlikely way, standing at the top of the world making it official.
And then the reception happened. The band was something else entirely. By the end of the night Juliet was up at the mic doing a Taylor Swift singalong with the lead singer and the whole room lost it in the best possible way. That's the energy Juliet and Cole bring. The kind that makes you feel like you've been friends with them for years by the time the night is over.
This wedding was documented alongside industry family. The incredibly talented Richard of Royal Films, who brought us into this one, Stephanie on photo, and Sierra holding it down on content. So grateful for each of them.
Juliet and Cole, Telluride was lucky to have you.
