There are weddings you photograph, and then there are weddings you feel. This was the latter.
Nestled into the golden hills of San Luis Obispo, Greengate Ranch set the stage for a day that was as effortless as it was unforgettable.
The morning began with the groom getting ready inside the ranch house — calm, collected, and dressed in a suit that stopped us in our tracks. Sewn into the inner lining were photographs of him and his bride. A quiet detail that said everything about how he felt about her.
Across the property, up above the venue, the bride was preparing in her own world — radiant, surrounded by her people, completely glowing.
The ceremony took place down by the pond, beneath the shade of the willow trees. It was short, and it was perfect. The kind of vows that don't need to be long to leave a mark.
Guests made their way up to cocktail hour in front of the barn as the afternoon sun warmed the hills around them. Drinks, laughter, and that golden California light doing what it does best.
Inside, speeches were made and dinner was shared — the kind of toasts that had the whole room laughing and crying in the same breath.
Then the sun began to fall over the hills, and the dancing began.
It didn't stop for a long time. And honestly? We didn't want it to.
